The EZ-Bridge LT5+ is a high power 25dBm (316mW) outdoor wireless bridge system operating in the 5GHz unlicensed frequency spectrum providing real world throughput up to 100 Mb/sec. It complies with the 802.11an standards to insure interoperability. The EZ-Bridge LT5+ creates a transparent wireless bridge between two networks up to 3 miles apart with good line of sight. It supports VOIP, VPN, multiple MAC addresses and DHCP across the wireless link. It is the perfect plug and play solution for connecting the networks in two or more buildings, internet access sharing, remote video surveillance or remote network access. Multiple EZ-Bridge LT5+ units can be connected in a mesh configuration to allow interconnecting more than two sites.

With its password verification, MAC address authentication, SSID suppression and advanced WPA encryption, the system provides the best available wireless data security.

Plug and play-install the antennas and plug in the power inserters. The units automatically find their peer and create a secure wireless network link. There are no drivers or software that needs to be loaded to the computer.

The EZ-Bridge LT5+ comes complete with all the electronics that are needed for a point to point wireless network bridge installation; including 2 powerful 16dBi 802.11an MIMO antennas with built-in high power electronics, Bracket Kits which accommodate pole or wall mounting and Cat5e rated 24V POE (Power Over Ethernet) power inserters. Customer needs to supply CAT5 cabling between the power inserter and the antenna and between the power inserter and his computer, router or switch.

These bridges couldn't be any easier to install and configure. Great coverage, good configuration tools. The only negative is where the device connects to the mounting bracket. It tends to pivot a bit in high winds.

New Model is working flawlessly
I had used the previous version at a location and they worked great, so I figured I would try them again. The updated units gave me better signal strength and better through-put. I'm shooting across a field just over 1/2 mile and they work flawlessly.

Mr
Easy to install and configure by non professionals. This product needs a clear line of sight between antennas. Obstructions may drop the signal and make it unusable.

Doing some research on bridge systems I came across the TYCON website. The website was easy to understand and navigate and upon my research still had a few questions. I called and talked to a gentleman (I wish I remembered his name) that thoroughly knew these systems and answered all of my questions. He explained what the systems will do and the difference in the units I was looking at, also what else I will need to complete the installation. He also said if I had any problems/questions to call back. Placing the order was easy and they arrived well packed a few days later. I still had to gather some Cat6 cable and other hardware like the access point I went with ASUS RT-AC1900P Wireless-AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router. The system basically install themselves, as long as they have a clear line of site to each other, the hardest thing for me was running the wire and to make sure I had a power outlet to each of the units. After running the wire connecting the cables and hooking up the Router I was instantly ready to surf. The EZ-Bridge®LT5 is way faster the the internet service I replaced, I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase and will recommend these if the question ever comes up.

These units were easy to set up on building exterior and work just as easily as you hoped they would when you weren't sure if you should buy them because it seems too easy!!! I went with this option when our company purchased an adjacent building. The tech company that I asked to look at the building recommended elaborate new network, etc that would have cost over about $10K. Total cost of this plan is a fraction of that and is for now at least, doing the trick just fine.

We utilized this equipment to bridge three buildings together to share one high-speed internet link. The link was only available to one of the buildings. This has eliminated 3 internet service bills down to one. The bridges came up and auto-synced and we were online within minutes.
